Online Adoption Application Form

This week we welcomed sweet Able to Saving Shepherds of Mn.  We don’t know much about Abel, except that he is the absolute best dog.  He was found as a stray, he was emaciated, skin and bones, weak and sick.  After only a few days, we came to realize this poor boy had most likely been dumped and left to fend for himself.  As with most dogs who have been in a home prior to being dumped, they don’t know how to hunt.  They will eat what they find, and sadly it’s not usually enough for them to survive.  Abel was found by a group we have worked closely with (they brought Sarah to us).  We couldn’t say no to Abel, even tho he is obviously a mix he is an absolute doll!  Abel is housetrained, kennel trained, up to date on vaccinations and neutered.  He is dog (big and small) friendly and is showing to be cat friendly too!!  We don’t know about kids, but we believe older, respectful kids would be fine!  Let us tell you, we are smitten by this boy and absolutely in love with him!!  Abel would do great with another dog to show him the ropes, he is very scared of new things, but with a confident resident dog, he is much better!  Notably, hard surfaces on floors, transitions from doorways, etc.  but he learns quickly and is getting more confident!  We just love watching them learn and thrive!
