This hunk, who we have named Noah, was found as a stray in St. Paul a couple weeks ago. He was very skinny, but he's filling in nicely at his new foster home. Noah currently lives with 1 foster sister and they get along well, but he is a puppy sometimes he can be a bit pesky and want to play too much! He'd love a friend he can run around with! Noah has a little basic training, and is still learning how to be less mouthy when playing and to not jump, but these are just puppy things he will learn with proper training. He loves going on walks and is currently learning how to bring back the ball after he fetches it. He knows "kennel up" and runs in there on command, but he just wants to be a part of all the action, so he does cry and bark for the first few minutes of being left alone in it. His foster mom has been very busy so she feels with more running and exercise, this would greatly be reduced. His reaction to new people so far has been of curiosity when he approaches them, but then he wants to play immediately. We have been working on not jumping on the new people he meets! He is curious about the cat he lives with, but in a playful way. He will chase her if she takes off, but once she stops he just nuzzles her and tries to play! He is getting much better at leaving the kitty alone when told. He has met a few dogs of different sizes, and has had no reaction other than to play! Noah will be neutered soon and once healed, he will be available for his new forever! We estimate is is about 9 months old and is up to date on vaccinations and microchipped. Stay tuned!
