Who needs a Buddy? You? Because Buddy needs a foster or foster to adopt home! This poor guy has been failed by humans at every turn, but we want to show him that there are good people out there!
Buddy was picked up as a stray and held for his stray hold, no one came looking for him. He was given a date….you know…THE date. The date Buddy would lose his life, a life barely lived at only about a year old.
And then a miracle! A foster stepped up to foster him! Awesome news for Buddy, and a sigh of relief for us because we knew he was safe and could focus on another dog in need.
But that’s not where Buddy’s story ends, obviously….
A few days later, the person who has promised to foster Buddy backed out….
And so, Buddy was given another date….
We scramble, but no one steps up to help, but we want to! Finally, a foster home became available and they agreed to take Buddy temporarily.
Now Buddy is in need of another foster or foster to adopt home, we would prefer a foster to adopt if possible….why, because Buddy deserves some stability!!
Buddy deserves to be in a home long enough to decompress and settle in, to feel like he belongs and feel like he’s home. We want that for him more than anything else!
Through it all, he has never stopped smiling, his smile is contagious and he is still just a happy, happy guy!
Buddy is about 1 year old, he is neutered, up to date on vaccines, heartworm negative and microchipped. Buddy LOVES people, all people, men and women alike. He is a big goober who just wants to be close to you and leans in when you pet him. He does jump up so he may knock littles down in his excitement to get close!
Buddy is fine with other dogs after proper intros, but he’d rather be with people. So he can have dog companions or he’d be perfectly happy to be the only pet and get all the love for himself!
He does NOT want to be a Buddy with kitties, so that’s a big no. He will also chase rabbits and squirrels in the yard, but we won’t hold that against him! Oh, he’s also great in the car, so if you want a travel Buddy, he’s your boy!
