This is Nellie, she’s a one year old purebred, female German Shepherd. Nellie grew up on a farm with her sister and litter mate Greta. 

Nellie is new to this whole house business so she is working on the potty training. She responds  well to positive rewards but is not really interested in puppy treats.

Nellie is a people pleaser and gets along with kids (3 and 8 year old). She shows interest in our cat but he’s old so he’s not interested in playing. Nellie seems to be comforted when around others (people or dogs) are around. 

She likes her bone and food to be known to be hers around other dogs, she growls but hasn’t ever done anything more, the resident dog has not tested her, but we are working on this. 

Nellie has a good attitude and loves people. She is going to make a great companion.  Nellie is up to date on vaccinations, spayed and microchipped.
