Eugene is a little nervous with new people but, if you just give him a minute and slow down, he comes around real fast and is a sweet and fun boy! He is doing great with crate training! He does chew up bedding left in his crate, but he hasn't tried to escape or had any accidents. Eugene is currently working on walking nice on a leash- he is just a typical young guy that needs a little guidance.   He is goofy and playful, loves his people but can keep himself busy hanging out in the yard too. When he first sees dogs, Eugene does alert and move forward so some dogs may take that the wrong way. He is a bit pushy in play with dogs and tries to mount them, so any potential packmates should be tolerant of high energy and rambunctious pups! Because of his high energy and hesitation with new people, a home without young children is necessary. Cats are unknown. Eugene is neutered, current on vaccines, microchipped and heartworm negative! Eugene is finishing up with a 2 week reset after busting out of a shelter and is looking for a foster to adopt home. Please be sure to review the requirements in our "adoption info" prior to submitting an application. Foster homes must meet the same criteria as adoptive homes.
